All competitors participating in the Alpine and Nordic legs of this event will be required to complete a Big White Events Waiver. The waivers will be included in your competitors package which you will receive the morning of the event. Have both participates complete this waiver and bring it with them to Big White. They can hand it in at the registration table in the Happy Valley Daylodge at Big White.

Soloists are required to complete the registration form and sign the accompanying waiver.

All events are governed by the rules of the team events, except as noted below:

• Canoe leg is replaced by solo kayak/canoe leg on the same course as team participants. Kayak must be carried or pulled into canoe "drop zone" then paddler must run across finish line to complete race.
• Solo participants must provide their own support crews at each transition to look after the participants equipment. Ski to Sea volunteers will NOT be responsible for storing or handling equipment either before, or after each leg of the race
• A special area will be designated at each transition zone for solo participants, and must be used by the solo participants
• Special pre-race meeting for solo participants following the team pre-race meeting at 7:00 am on race day
